MEMORY, READING SYSTEM AND IMPROVING CONCERATION

                                 

            On Wednesday, 12 July 2017, we was learning about Memory, reading system and improving conceration. Firstly, our lecturer told us about  learning pyramid that showed us which is the most effective learning skill. Then, she told us the reason why we need to learnt study skill. To understand more about this chapter, we need to understand about the brain and the memory first. Brain is the physical places, is part of the visible and tangible world of body. While memory allow us to remember facts and experinces. It consist of encoring, staring information, retrieval and making that information avaible. The first subtitle that we had learnt was memory strategies. There are 4 strategies. Some of them are break reading material down and elaboration strategies. Then we learnt about conceration. It mean focusing our attention on what we are doing. There are so many cause of concentration such as lack of interest. To solve the problems, we can use many strategies. One of them we could used an active learning strategies. Lastly, we learnt about Recall and reading strategies ( SQ3R ).

 For more understanding, we need to make some memory practise and SQ3R short memory. For memory practise, we need to memorise 12 sentence in just 5 minutes.

SQ3R short summary practise.

           

            SQ3R is the great way to read the note, book, online resouce and etc. S mean we need to skim the whole passage so we can know what it was about. Q mean question. When you read the passage, we must asking ourselves about the chapter base off heading, diagram and etc. So that we can easily memories it. We can use Wh-question to make the question. First R mean read. We should read the whole passage and understand it very well. By read, we can answer that we have already made. Second R mean recite. Recite was an acourage. It also can be defination as talk to ourselve. We must read the question, our note and told ourselves about the note. We can use our own note to get more understand. Last R mean review. We should review our early note. That all SQ3R was about.
